Dr. Runkle has practiced on the south side of Indianapolis for 22 years. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Runkle is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Special interests include surgical and non-surgical foot and ankle treatements, diabetic foot and wound care, and sports medicine.

Dr. Runkle graduated from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1993 and completed a two-year surgical residency in foot and ankle surgery at Thorek Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. As an undergraduate at Indiana University, he earned a B.S. in Biology.

Dr. Runkle has three children and is married to Carol, a graduate of Loyola University, Chicago.
